Event Description:
Adapted from the songs and writings of "America's premier folk poet," this foot-stomping sing-along show features such legendary classics as Hard Travelin', Bound for Glory, and This Land is Your Land. Woody believed that his works were best heard coming from the people around him, and Woody Guthrie's American Song takes that philosophy to heart. Outdoors on the Healdsburg Downtown Plaza — bring your own seating or enjoy our VIP section! Songs and writings by Woody Guthrie. Conceived and adapted by Peter Glazer. Directed by Joe Gellura. General admission is free or you can enjoy the show in our special VIP section right in front of the stage.
